In this section, the examiner will introduce aviation and personal-related topics and invite you to discuss them in detail. The aim is to evaluate your fluency, structure, and ability to clearly express thoughts in English. Unlike technical exams, the focus is on communication—not on recalling procedures.
Describe aviation-related pictures, using appropriate terminology to show clarity and vocabulary range.
Respond to a variety of questions, demonstrating that you can process and explain information in full sentences.
Listen to transmissions and show that you can interpret, reformulate, and respond accurately—just as you would in operational situations.
Use a headset or earphones with good audio quality to ensure you hear instructions and recordings clearly during the test.
Keep your webcam at eye level and your face clearly visible in good lighting to help the examiner evaluate your communication.
Ensure you have a stable and reliable internet connection to prevent any disruptions during the test session.
Select a private space free from background noise, interruptions, or distractions to keep full focus on your exam.
Respond in full sentences instead of yes/no replies to demonstrate your fluency, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
If you do not understand a question, politely ask for clarification using aviation-standard phrases such as “Say again.”
If using a laptop or mobile device, ensure it is fully charged or connected to power to avoid disruptions during your test.

Results are issued quickly and securely, usually within 24 hours of completing the exam. Your rating is based on ICAO’s six proficiency areas: pronunciation, structure, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and interaction. Once you sign the digital certificate, you can submit it directly to your Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for approval.
