Does ICAO English Level 6 expire?
EASA Part-FCL does not require periodic language reassessment for pilots who demonstrate Expert Level 6. Pilots should nevertheless confirm how their issuing authority records the endorsement and whether any separate administrative requirements apply.
Does Level 6 require a native English accent?
No. ICAO Level 6 does not require a native accent. A first-language or regional influence may remain, provided it almost never interferes with understanding.
Must every assessed skill reach Level 6?
Yes. The final ICAO proficiency result is the lowest score awarded across the six assessed areas. A Level 6 result therefore requires Expert performance in every area.
